Western Sydney University is a world-class university with a growing international reach and reputation for academic excellence and impact-driven research. Ranked in the top 3% of universities in the world, we value academic excellence, integrity and the pursuit of knowledge. We are globally focused, research-led and committed to making a positive impact. Western Sydney University has more than 100 study areas, over 3,300 staff and about 45,000 students from Australia and around the world.
There are five main campuses spread across Greater Western Sydney and students can select to study in Bankstown, Parramatta and Penrith. While each campus offers a unique learning environment, they all share the same friendly, communal atmosphere that makes Western Sydney a great place to study and make friends. Exchange and study abroad students at Western Sydney can study at any campus depending on unit selection.
Students are able to apply for the ISEP Exchange or ISEP Direct program. The major different between these two programs is how fees are structure. On the ISEP Exchange program students pay Appalachian tuition and fees plus the ISEP Full Exchange Fee. On the ISEP Direct program students will be billed the ISEP Direct program fee. Non-resident students should check to see if the ISEP Direct cost will be less than Appalachian out of state tuition rates.
Students on the Western Sydney program will stay at university arranged housing.
Students participating on the ISEP Exchange program option will pay the ISEP Full Exchange Program Fee to Appalachian and will not pay housing or meal costs to Western Sydney.
