Upon confirmation of internship by African Impact students will be required to submit a $400 confirmation deposit directly to African Impact.  This will be subtracted from the total program fee.

Payment/Billing Instructions
Students pay current Appalachian State tuition and fees when selected for an international internship program. The tuition rate listed above is based on the current rate for in-state, undergraduate tuition (tuition rates vary). Out-of-state and graduate students will be required to pay their current rates. Please visit the Student Accounts website for current tuition and fees information.

Financing Study Abroad
Financial aid and scholarships are available for study abroad. Please note that program costs vary, depending on the features of the program, geographic location, length, exchange rates, and the level of on-site support. We encourage all students to review the costs of various programs before submitting an application. Please use the Student Financial Planning Worksheet Excel to help estimate your anticipated expenses and your anticipated financial resources.  More information about estimated cost ranges can be found by clicking on the Financial Tab in the program brochure page.
