External Study Abroad Program (Risk Management Program)

Program Description:
This program is setup for students who find semester and summer long study abroad programs not listed as an AppState Exchange partner or Affiliate.

Examples of External Programs include: 3rd party providers & directly enrolling in a foreign institution.

By searching for an external program please be aware that while it may greatly increase your program options please be aware of the following factors:
  • You pay the program/institution/organization directly. No fees from the program can be processed through AppState.
  • You are responsible for staying up to date regarding information and requirements for the program.
  • You may not be able to utilize all forms of aid.  Students should check with the financial aid office.
By submitting an External Program application you will have access to the following:
  • Credit Transfer Assistance
  • Health and Safety Monitoring
  • International Health and Evacuation Insurance
  • Pre-departure Orientation
